Orienteering and Climbing - Year 7 - Day 1 - 24th March

A great day of Orienteering and Climbing with our new year 7 group.  We would have gone Climbing outside all day as the weather was so glorious but the minibus was needed back at school for the chill factor trip at 3 o'clock.

We spent the morning up at Williamson park in Lancaster, the group worked hard to master the basic techniques and worked well as individuals to find as many controls as they could in the park.  Most people found virtually every one!!  Well done.

We spent the afternoon in the school Climbing wall.  Everyone did really well, some individuals in particular were exceptional in overcoming their fears!

Remember all are welcome to come along to Thursday nights Climbing club 5.30 till 7.30.

See you next Tuesday.

Paddling - Halton rapids with Tom and Dan - Monday evening

After a quick turn around in the garage after a great days Caving with a year 8 group.  Tom, Dan and I headed to the Lune for a couple of runs down Halton rapids.  Tom and Dan were looking very well polished and I tried to keep up in my new boat!

Great to get out on a river with the lads again!

Caving - Longchurn - Year 8 - Day 4 - 21st March

A Smashing days Caving with our current year 8 group!

Well done for a super effort throughout the trip.  There was some huge achievements in the cheese press in particular.

Lets hope for good conditions for Sailing on Friday.
