For some students OE will be the thing that encourages their attendance at school. For others it will be a means for their social and personal development to blossom. For others it will sow the seeds for life-long hobbies and adventure.

Colin Mortlock – one of the best known champions of OE, would claim that OE is not only the most important part of the curriculum but that it fosters a crucial respect for the environment and planet.
