Ghyll Scrambling - Stickle Ghyll - Year 7 - Day 5 - 7th Apr

A great day in absolutely smashing weather.  The group did exceptionally well to look after  each other and complete all the challenges.

Some huge personal and physical achievements with this group during their 5 days of OE - well done guys!

Climbing - Kendal Wall - Year 7 - Day 4 - 5th April

Due to the very wet and windy weather today, Sailing and Ghyll Scrambling were not a possibility. 

Instead we went Climbing at Kendal Wall.  There were some huge achievemnets, with some totally overcoming their fear of heights and others just doing loads and loads of Climbing. 

We were there nearly 5 hours, some people must have done about 30 climbs plus lots of bouldering - awesome!

Next day Thursday 7th April - Sailing or Ghyll depending on the Weather!

Sailing and a bit of Climbing - Year 8 - Day 3 - 4th April

A fairly horrible day of wind and rain saw us attempting to sail on Windermere.  After half an hour of Sailing in difficult conditions I called it a day and we headed back to Tower Wood for dry clothes and a hot drink.

So as not to waste the rest of the day we headed back to School for an hour on the Climbing Wall.

Well done guys for giving the sailing such a good go!!!

Next 2 days are now after easter on - Tuesday 26th and Thursday 28th April!  Don't forget!
