Year 7 - Final day - CAVING in The churns.

FANTASTIC days caving guys and gals in The Churns.
We had lovely weather walking upto and from the cave.
Lots of you overcame fears and worked very well as a team helping each other.

We learnt lots of facts about the caves and surrounding area.
A pic of us all looking into alum Pot...quite deep

Wonderful pic of Pen-y-ghent. Strange....Rachel crawled out of a small space and carried on until past...looks like she asleep..
Having just done some pretty cool caving.
Looking down Dolly tubs and paul explaining about the pitch..anyone fancy it in yr 10??

Brrr that looks a wet cave passage Sam....but smiling!!

Well done for braving the wet cave and doing it together well. Smiles all around.....well done "lou lou", you did FAB today.
Joel....last but not least....a great help today carrying bags and helping others.

A quick vid of Josh poppong out of the wet crawl in Wilsons into wonderful sunshine!

The leader of the pack....leading the way through and out of Wilsons...!!

Well done over your whole 5 days guy. You all did amazing and were a pleasure to take out on activity as we said on our chat at the end.

Hope you all enjoyed it and are going to pester us for more days out in the next few years.

AND the best thing...CAVING came out as TOP activity once again!!!

A smashing days Ghyll Scrambling up Great Langdale with our new year 7 group. We had a right mix of weather with some heavy rain and then some glorious sunshine to end they day.

You all did fantastically well today, lots of team work going on, some setting small individual challenges and all got to the top.

Most braved the tree route traverse and a few fell in....was that by accident or purpose....im sure a bit of both!! Then some braved the chill lakeland water once again for a final dunky dip.....brrrr!
