Kayaking - Halton, River Lune - Year 8 - Day 1 - 6th May

First day out with a very large super keen group of year 8's!

I was very pleased to see such a smashing turn out today after such a poor start with returning forms.  I had to consider for some time as I didn't know any of you, whether you were going to be sensible enough to take out as such a large group.  But you proved to be more than sensible enough - well done!

Bring on the next 4 activity days!!!

Next activity day Monday the 12th May

Sailing - Tower Wood - Year 7 - Day 2 - 5th May

A great day's Sailing in light changeable conditions that made it difficult for the group to make progress!

We sailed from Tower Wood up the lake to Grubbins Point for lunch and back again!

For some reason the video wouldn't upload so i'll try again later!

Next day - Tuesday 10th of May

Ghyll Scrambling - Stickle Ghyll - Year 7 - Day 1 - 3rd May

A great day in the Ghyll with our current year 7 group.  Despite the water levels there was still loads of fun to be had traversing the plunge pools and taking the direct routes up the waterfalls!

There was even time for a swim at the end, shame I had to dive for the sinking welly mind.

Well done - bring on Thursday!
