Caving - Longchurn - Year 7 - Day 3 - 31st March
Great days Caving with our current year seven group! The team worked really well together and everyone challenged themselves to overcome any fears they may have had!
Everyone went through the cheese press and most of them managed a smile, (as you can see)!
Good Effort!
Everyone listening carefully to the briefing!
Looking though the cheese press at the group waiting to start!
Smile or not!
Where's Rach?
See you next Tuesday for Sailing or Ghyll Scrambling.
Can anyone remember the names of the Yorkshire three peaks? Answers by Tuesday!

A great day's caving with a super keen group.
Well done for working so hard and succeeding at all the challenges. Everyone worked so well we even had time to finish with the crawls in Wilson's - very wet but great fun!
Next activity day is Monday 4th.

Kayaking - River Lune - Year 7 - Day 2 - 29th March
Another great days Kayaking on the River Lune near Halton!
Due to a speedy departure and lunch we were on the water and paddling by 11.30. The group mastered basic techniques quickly and we were soon down at the motorway bridge. We played games on the way and practiced forward paddling, reversing and turning.
Everyone was brave enough to crawl down there boats and rub noses with them!
Excellent team work at the end of the session getting boats off the water and loaded onto the trailer, bring on Thursday!

Ghyll Scrambling - Stickle Ghyll - Year 8 - Day 1 - 28th March
A great day out in the Langdale valley in stunning weather.
The group worked really well together, they moved so quickly we got all the way up to the big waterfall at the top. Most of the group were brave enough to jump in on the way back down in the deep plunge pool!
Well done guys, bring on Wednesday!
