A late post with some excellent videos from the end of last term!

Ghyll Scrambling - Stickle Ghyll - 17th Apr and Kayaking - River Lune - 19th Apr - Year 7 day 1 and 2

A really great start with our current year 7 group in Stickle Ghyll on in bright but wintry conditions and excellent water levels!

A great days kayaking on the river Lune at Halton.  The group tried their hardest to do their best and overcome their fears!

Well done guys for working so hard together getting the boats on and off the trailer!

Bring on next Tuesday, lets hope the sun shines!

What an awful, wet and windy day to be out!

However it didn't put today's group off at all. 

Well done guys for working so well together and pushing yourselves to achieve all the challenges!

Lets hope for better weather on Wednesday.

Mountain Biking - Grizedale Forest - Year 10 Public Services

A day of Mountain Biking with an emphasis on Health and Safety, Leadership / Team work and Conservation.  What better activity to put all of the above into perspective!

All nine lads picked up basic tecniques quickly and went on to ride the entire North face trail in great style!

Well done guys for your safe and mature attitude but also your willingness to push yourselves to the limit!

Ghyll Scrambling - Stickle Ghyll - Year 7 - Day 1 - 10th Jan 2012

First day of activity for our new year seven group, so we headed for Stickle Ghyll.  Water levels were perfect and despite being mid Jan it was very mild.

Not quite mild enough for swimming though!  Try telling that to 13 super keen students!

Sailing - Lake Windermere - Year 7 - Day 5 - 11th Jan 2012

Finally a break in the weather and a chance to go Sailing.

The entire group did exceptionally well despite the changeable conditions.
