Ghyll Scrambling - Stickle Ghyll - Year 7 - Day 3 - 12th Dec
A great day in the Ghyll with our current, super enthusiastic year seven group!
The water levels were high and challenging and the weather was cold and wintry. But it didn't stop these guys having fun and learning about the Geography of the Langdale valley!
See you on Wednesday for your next day of OEd

Climbing - Kendal Wall - Year 7 - Day 2 - 7th December
Day 2 with our current year 7 group. The weather was so wet, windy and horrible the only thing we could do was go to Kendal Climbing Wall.
Everyone tried really hard and climbed their hearts out the whole time we were there!
Some natural talents in this group - Climbing Club is on every Thursday 6.30 - 8.30pm
Well done to all of you, especially Lewis and Callum who conquered their fear of heights!!!

Kayaking - Lancaster Canal - Year 7 - Day 2 - 24th Nov
A cracking day on the canal with our current year sevens.
We spent time mastering basic skills and playing games. Then we went on a 2 mile journey down the canal and back!
Some excellent skills demonstrated - lots of potential for taking kayaking further with the department.
Well done all of you!
See you next Tuesday

Year 7 - Day 3 - Canoe Rafting on Lake Windermere.
A lovely day on Lake Windermere with our present year 7 group. Intending to sail oppies but the wind just did not fill in so we decided to do some canoe rafting and had a lovely paddle down the lake to a little island for lunch.
The A-Team....paddled fantastic all day.
The B-team who toward the end of the day found their rhythm and pushed the A-Team all the way back in a race to the beach to a final draw.
Cheers all around from the A-team.
Lunch time on the island.
Some well earned food before some games of camouflage...and some excellent hiding places...
An the final reward of a nice dip in the lovely cold lake...
Excellent jump Charlottie :o)
SPLASH.....who is that under there then!!!
