BTEC PE - Year 12 - Risk Assesment and H&S - Hodge Close

After a thorough look at completing risk assessments and developing policies and procedures for Outdoor activities, we headed out to Coniston planning on a Ghyll Scramble.

Knowing how much rain had been put down we went prepared with a back up plan to do an Abseil and Hodge close challenge if the water levels were to high in the Ghylls.  The Ghylls were huge so we went to Hodge close quarry for an abseil and a jump swim and climb!

Mr Wilson being brave and going 1st on the abseil in to the quarry!

Awesome day guys, well done for pushing yourselves so hard!

Admiring the persistence you put into your site and in depth information you provide. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
