Kayaking - River Lune - Year 7 - Day 2 - 3rd Mar

Another excellent day with our current group of super keen year sevens.  We headed to Halton by the old railway station finished off the briefing kitted up and launched below the bridge in super quick time.

We worked on skills, forwards and backwards paddling and turning and played a load of games!

The whole group did really well. Even though the sun was lovely and warm the water is still very cold and everyone got freezing hands, despite this everyone stayed keen!

A Kelt Salmon with a bad case of white fungus!

Excellent posture!

Roger relaxing!

The evolution game!

Hi Paul and Rachel,

Really good to see young people enjoying themselves on the river Lune.
I specifically enjoyed the eyes, ears, knees and toes something I could not/would not try (no bottle) great to see you all and not a word of bad language said (unlike the fishermen)
Anyway great to see you all hope to see you again best wishes James
