Walk and Quarry Exploration - Year 8 - Day 4 - 16th May

We had to find a foul weather option today rather than the planned Climbing or Sailing this group had left to do!

We decided to go for a walk from Hodge Close to Cathedral Quarries near Coniston.  We spent a fair bit of time on the way to Cathedral looking at the flora and fauna and collecting wood for the Kelly Kettle Stove.

After lunch and a hot chocolate brewed on the Kelly kettle we exited the Cathedral cavern through a tunnel using candles for light.
